Creative Commons Deed Some rights reserved

Creative Commons Deed Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.5

The Creative Commons license lets you specify that your work can be freely copied with any or none of several restrictions. The so called “some rights reserved” approach.

You have to ask yourself three important questions:

Do you want to require attribution?
Do you want to allow commercial uses?
Do you want to allow derivative works?

If you find that your license is being violated, you may have grounds to sue under copyright infringement.

They offer six main licenses when you choose to publish your work with a Creative Commons license.

It’s possible to integrate the license engine directly into your site or application.
