The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists moves the Doomsday Clock two minutes closer to midnight. It is now 5 minutes to midnight. “The spread of nuclear weapons could turn in a second nuclear age and the expected climate change could lead to big problems…”. The Doomsday Clock (started 1947) is a symbolic clock to wake up public and political leaders for nuclear dangers. It displays the danger of Destruction of Humanity, Midnight means the figurative end of civilization.
