Dutch Orangutans chat with friends from Borneo

Orangutans from the Apenheul in Apeldoorn will communicate with their Indonesian friends by computer. This project follows after an experiment of Willie Smits. That experiment proved that monkeys can communicate with each other by a mirror.
Now they will be able to give each other a banana just bij touching the touchscreen. They want to give more attention with this project to the Orangutans in Indonesia suffering from Rainforests being cut down.
