Find 500000, get nothing

A Security Officer found 500000 euro in two plastic bags on the beach in Milocer, Montenegro. The officer wanted to be honest and brought the money back to the nearest hotel. There he found the owners and gave it back. I think he will keep it next time. He did not get any reward, they never thanked him. After they had inspected their bags the US/British couple just left.
