GeoNames, geographical database. Aggregates data from various sources. Look up coordinates, administrative divisions, postal codes, population, elevation and timezones (2.2 million populated places and 1.8 million alternate names). Download and import your results in Google Earth with provided Kml file. Users may edit, correct and add new names.
