Google launched a web version of Google Sky. Now its possible to view galaxies and stars from your browser without installing Google Earth. Available in 26 different languages. Google Sky Features:
- Search box, expanded results if something is found
- Different views like Infrared, Microwave and Historical
- Galleries with imagery from Hubble and other telescopes
- Earth and Sky Podcasts
- Ability to overlay KML files, like Google Maps and Google Earth
- Zoom and pan the sky, like with Google Maps
- Link to any place
