Guatemala Sinkhole

A 330-foot-deep sinkhole opened in the middle of Guatemala City. Officials said the hole was caused by faulty sewer piping and recent rains. It swallowed several houses, cars and two people were killed.

to the guy saying toss your garbage in. sadly many people in the south have done this over the years and it contaminates thier drinking water. the SKTF (sera karst task force) does many sinkhole clean ups and it is very sad to see what people throw into them. i guess some people dont think that all that garbage will contaminate the same water they drink every day.

Garbage….there is garbage everywhere in Guatemala.
Tossing it in the sink hole is a great idea. The water is already contaminated beyond repair there. Throw all the garbage in the sink hole so it is out of sight!!!

all of you are dumb! probably none of you know how people down there suffer. all of them are poor. why dont all of you go try living there with a huge sink hole that just took half of your house. then lets see if you say the same thing. say those 2 people that were killed were your family… you wouldnt be talking the way you are. ive been to guatemala and seen how people live and i wish that i could help and i actually try to help. if you think just contaminating the water even more than it is already than that shows how stupid you really are. your killing more and more people! your suppost to be helping the country not destroying it! youre all stupid except for the person who said that the drinking water will get contaminated.

this is for the two guys who said that they should throw there garbage in the sink hole. if they do that it can make more people sick by the germs.

these holes are the wonders of the world i know some of them are done by man but you should just let them be because you wouldnt exactly like it you came into your home and saw people tossing garbage into your living room or even bedroom
