MyBlogLog rolled back all the new Co Authors since Friday night and has working out a Plan for the next couple of weeks based upon feedback from users to reduce spam. Comment on the plan if you think they’ve gone too far or missed something that is important: Weekend spamtacular — what the heck happened and how we’re fixing it.
MyBlogLog’s Six Point Plan:
1 Official Terms of Service (ToS) and hold people accountable
2 By default only message from your own contacts
3 Text of the comment and controls (delete,reply, etc) in the alert email (no need to visit MyBlogLog).
4 Limit users to 5 requests for co-authors a day
5 Limit users to join 15 communities and add 15 contacts during any day
6 Comment approval system
