MySpace PFF Addon
August 19, 2006

PFF, Performancing for Firefox is a full featured blog editor that sits right in your Firefox browser and lets you post to your blog(s) (Blogger, Wordpress, MySpace). Now they have a MySpace Addon: MySpace PFF Addon 0.3 alpha. It’s still in development. If you are a regular MySpace user you could give it a try. It is definitely worth it. It saves you a lot of time.
They created a quick ScreenCast for Installing and using the MySpace Addon.
How to get started (I assume you have Firefox installed):
- Install PFF 1.3
- Install MySpace PFF Addon
- Restart Firefox to get both installed.
- Go to settings and the addons tab at the top and enable the MySpace addon
- Go to the editor and hit the little MySpace icon at the top right of the editor box (next to the button that collapses the right panel) and you should be in MySpace mode
- Fill in your Details and you are ready to blog
I did all of this, but when I go to click “Post Blog”, it tells me to select one. Why? I’m logged in and everything as far as the plugin goes. I tried disabling Greasemonkey, but that wasn’t the problem. Perhaps MySpace changed their blog and now the plugin is broken? Need help.
