Nokia 1100 Over 200 Million Sales

Not the famous 3310 but “Penny”, the Nokia 1100 is best selling electronics device in the world. Over 200 million sales since it launched in 2003 beating the iPod (100 million), Motorola RAZR (50 million), LG Chocolate (10 million) and Playstation 2 (115 million). Sales in developing markets have grown more than three times since 2002. The 3310 and 3330 sold 126 million units from its launch in 2000 until its retirement in 2005.
