WinRAR got the price “Best Overall Utility” from the Shareware Industry Awards Foundation (SIAF). WinZip was populairder in the past but people realise WinRAR has a better compression. The Shareware Industry Awards Foundations “People’s Choice Awards” are voted on by the public. It was created in 1996 so software users could vote for their favorite shareware and freeware programs. Voting occurs from May 1st through May 31st each year.
