Spybot can detect and remove spyware from your pc. Spyware is something that common anti-virus applications do not yet cover. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you didn’t install, if your browser crashes, or if you browser start page has changed without your knowing, you most probably have spyware. But even if you don’t see anything, you may be infected, because more and more spyware is silently tracking your surfing behaviour.
I use Spybot for some time now and it cleans your pc perfectly. People who use the alexa toolbar are warned. Like in most cases this programm sees the alexa toolbar as spyware. Don’t remove anything alexa related if you like to keep your installed toolbar. This software is from PepiMK Software and free. You can change your settings that it automatically gets updates everytime you use it.
