World Record Hot Dog Eating

Joey Chestnut, 22, of San Jose, is the new world record holder hot dog eating: 59 hot dogs and buns in 12 minutes. He broke the record held by Takeru Kobayashi of Japan during the Hot Dog Eating Championship at the Arizona Mills Mall, Tempe. Kobayashi’s old record of 53 was set last year at Coney Island in New York.
