List of World’s Worst Currencies: Currencies of some of the most unstable economies on earth presented by Foreign Policy. Not unusual, things happened in the past with former Yugoslavia (10 Billion Dinar Note with Nikola Tesla), Germany and a lot of other countries. But still sad.
1. Somalia - Somali shilling (SOS):
Inflation: ? - Exchange: 1,388 SOS per US$1
2. Iraq - New Iraqi dinar (NID):
Inflation: 40.92 percent (April 2007) - Exchange: 1,260 NID per US$1
3. North Korea - North Korean Won (KPW):
Inflation: ? - Exchange: 141 KPW - 2,500 KPW per US$1
4. Venezuela - The Bolivar (VEB):
Inflation: 19.5 percent (May 2007) - Exchange: 2,150 - 4,110 bolívars per US$1
5. Zimbabwe - Zimbabwean dollar (ZWD):
Inflation: 3.714 percent - Exchange: 250 ZWD - 60,000 ZWD per US$1
